Mecca (Antara Bali)- The death toll of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims in the Mina stampede tragedy has risen to 41, from 34 reported earlier.
The 10 injured Indonesian Hajj pilgrims were being treated in Saudi hospitals, Director General of Hajj and Umroh Management of the Religious Affairs Ministry Abdul Djamil stated here, Sunday.
In addition to the 41 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims who died in the stampede, three Indonesian citizens, who were staying in Saudi, were also killed in the tragedy.
Some 82 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims are still missing since the tragedy occurred, he noted.
"We will continue to look for the 82 missing people until we find them," he remarked.
The 82 missing people comprise eight from Batam, 46 from Jakarta and Bekasi, five from Makassar, seven from Solo, and 16 from Surabaya. (WDY)
