The directors who were grilled by the KPK included Eko Novianto of PT Multi Dwikarya Cipta, Suhandoyo of PT Rembang Jaya Utama, Endang Sudaryanti of PT Sentosa Jaya Makmur, Erwin Soentoro of PT Trisindo Pama, Heru Santoso of PT Prima Karya Gumilang, Sofian Tahar of PT Harapan Sumber Rejeki, Susiliya Supana of PT Indo Prima Bajaraksa, and Zulkifli of PT Global Pasific Pratama.
The witnesses were questioned in connection with the role played by fictitious companies in the bidding of the Hambalang sports complex project, he revealed.
Machfud Suroso, the director of PT Dutasari Citra Laras, had been named suspect in November 2013. He has been accused of embezzling funds worth Rp28.8 billion while his company received a payment of Rp170.39 billion for the Hambalang sports complex project.
The KPK has also dragged the former chairman of the Democratic Party Anas Urbaningrum to court for his involvement in this case. (WDY)
