Palu (Antara Bali) - The husband of former minister for women empowerment and child protection Khofifah Indar Parawansa was found dead in a hotel room here at 9 pm local time on Wednesday.
Local Resort Police Head Adj. Senior Commissioner Trisno Rahmadi confirmed the death of Indar Parawansa (53) when contacted on Thursday morning.
He said police were still investigating the death of Parawansa who died in a hotel in Jalan S Parman, Palu City. The body of Parawansa has been taken to a hospital for further examinations.
Based on information gathered at the location, Parawansa had been staying in the hotel since Tuesday (Jan. 14).
When hotel officials visited his room for administration on Wednesday night, they found no response from inside the room. The hotel officials, when they open the door, found the guest was already dead. 

 In the hotel room Police found the identity card of Parawansa who lived in Jalan Pegadeagan Timur C/11, Desa Pegadengan, Kecamatan Pancoran, South Jakarta.
Parawansa is the husband of Khofiah Indar Parawansa, the former minister for women empowerment and child protection during the government of former president Abdurrahman Wahid. (M038)
