Kuala Lumpur (Antara Bali) - Malaysian Police revealed ecstasy production house which located in Taman Setia Indah, Johor Bahru, Malaysia and seized drugs worth for RP1.6 billion.
Police detained a 40 year old man that suspected to be responsible for the ecstasy production which covered by tire replacement tools and other equipments, according to several local media here on Friday.
Head Police of Johor Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Shariff said the officers detained the man on Sunday (Feb 3) at 02.10 am. After investigated the suspect, Police raided the rented house and revealed several drugs which suspected to be ecstasy and a unit of pill maker.
"Police on the operation had found 83 ecstasy pills, chemical powder at 1.72 kilograms which suspected as the materials for ecstasy, ketamin at 25.3 kilograms and manual tools to produce pill as well as CRV car and 750 Ringgit Malaysia cash," said Shariff.
Head Police suspected that the pills are to be distributed to several entertainment centers and prices 30 to 50 Ringgit per pill. "The drug which is seized by Police is expected to be consumed for 9,000 drugs users," said Shariff. (*/T007)
