Bali Safari & Marine Park Receives The Best Amusement Park Award

Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Bali Safari and Marine Park in Gianyar, is declared as Indonesia's Leading Amusement Park in Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards (ITTA) 2010/2011, spokesperson for the Bali Safari and Marine Park marketing and communications Astrid said.

"The honor was accepted by General Manger of Bali Safari and Marine Park Hans Manansang in Jakarta, Thursday," she added.

Hans Manansang, according to Astrid, has said that the honor is an appreciation and celebration of the success and excellent service of the tourism industry in Indonesia.

"As a conservation park to prevent wild animals from extinction, the award is a special pride for me because by having a true concern for wildlife, we enrich the tourism world in Indonesia," Hans said.

According to Hans, the national award  given to Bali Safari and Marine Park, which is relatively new in the tourism world, deserved to be proud of not only for the Park itself, but for Taman Safari Indonesia as well.

Bali Safari and Marine Park, which covers 40 hectares of forests in Gianyar, is one of parks owned by Taman Safari Indonesia, which is popular with its attractions and animal conservation activities. Park arrangement in Taman Safari represents three areas in the world, Africa, India and Indonesia.

"There are 60 species of 400 animals bred in Bali Safari and Marine Park, to protect them from extinction. This park been  designed to make visitors always to have pleasant experiences while on vacation there, " he said.

Visitors, Hans added, can enjoy the sight of the fantastic Tsavo lion from close quarters.

"We also provide a world class theatre launched by Minister of Culture and Tourism Jero Wacik on Saturday (16/10)," Hans added.

Hans said the Park does not only amuse the tourists, but also educate them under conservation programs but also improve services in the tourism industry in Indonesia.(*)
