Bali Safari Wins Silver in International Culinary Competition

Denpasar (Antara Bali) - The Tsavo Lion restaurant of Bali Safari & Marine Park (BSMP) won a prize in an international culinary competition held by  Bali Culinary Professional in Nusa Dua, Bali.

BSMP spokesperson  Maylia Kartika S Parmono said on Wednesday the restaurant which is situated in the BSMP premises, Gianyar regency, won a silver medal.

"Thus, Tsavo Lion has proved that it is already enjoying a five-star hotel restaurant status," he said.

He added that in the event, Chef Gusti Nyoman Setiawan also received an award for the Individual Hot Cooking Norwegian Seafood category. 

"Chef Gusti combined oily salmon fish, gourd and asparagus smeared with thick sauce producing a highly delicious dish, one can get and enjoy only at Bali Safari Tsavo Lion restaurant," he said.

In the meantime, Executive Chef of Tsavo Lion Mahadi said his restaurant is managed with a unique concept which would leave an unforgettable impression on its customers.

"We are serving a combination of food from the whole world, and the first of their kind in Asia," he said.(*)
