The Executive Chef, Mr Mahadi, is a professional world-class chef who had work in five-star hotels at Bali and Dubai. Now he proves his wonderful experience by working in Bali Safari & Marine Park as the creator of amazing menus with great flavor in Tsavo Lion Restaurant.

For his achievements in culinary, Mr Mahadi got some awards such as Silver Medal in Borges Cooking Competition 2011 and 2nd winner in Bali Salon Culinaire 2011.

Start in 2012, Mr Mahadi and team had participated in Chef Competition of Bali Salon Culinaire 2012, March 1-3 2012, at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Nusa Dua, Bali.

They showed their capability in create pastry display, creative table set up, Indonesian food family style, meat dish, and pasta.

It was an interesting competition when many chefs are trying to exhibit their talent to transform food ingredients to be a marvelous cuisine in beautiful appearance.

Chef I Wayan Suparta had won the competition for Individual Hot Cooking Meat Dish, he made pan roasted herbs tenderloin, vegetable in truffle emulsion, spinach and pumpkin puree and red wine sauce for the menu and he got the Gold Award.

It is such a wonderful experience since he got the gold award, Unilever has invited him to go to Jakarta to join the Indonesia Chef of the year 2012 competition.

Hopefully the Food and Beverages team from Bali Safari & Marine Park will get a better success in Chef’s Competition of Bali Salon Culinaire 2013 than this year.(IGT)
