Indonesia Showcases Art, Culinary Performances At Taiwan University

Taipei, Taiwan (Antara Bali) -- A number of Indonesian students presented their art and culinary skills at the National Central University (NCU) in Zhongli, Taiwan, on Tuesday.

The event, which was organized as the Indonesian Culture Day, was welcomed by other foreign students, besides those from Taiwan.

"This is the second such event we organized in the NCU campus. We held the same event last year, when we were warmly welcomed by the communities," event organizer Welayaturromadhona said.

On the occasion, Taiwanese students were involved in the art and culinary performances.

"The Taiwanese students participated in the art shows with the Indonesian students," Welaya stated, adding that the traditional dances presented during the event were a collaboration between students from both countries.

The Indonesian dishes presented at the occasion included traditional snacks and cookies, as well as bakso (Indonesian meatballs and noodles), among other items. (WDY)
