Bali Safari Celebrated 4th Anniversary

Denpasar (Antara Bali) – Through many programmes and events, Bali Safari & Marine Park (BSMP) celebrated our 4th anniversary on the 13th of November 2011.

According to press realease, spokeman said, as Indonesia’s Leading Amusement Park 2011/2012 and Best Conservation Institution 2011, Bali Safari & Marine Park have demonstrated our achievements by holding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities to celebrate our anniversary.

"The activities started on the 5th of November 2011 with the opening of Safari Poo Paper Factory in the Elephant Village area, where children planted trees as ‘Trees of Hope’," Head of Marketing BSMP Ririn Low said here, Sunday

They symbolise trees as a message of hope for the protection of the environment, parallel to Bali Safari & Marine Park’s vision for natural education and conservation.

At 6.30 pm on the same day, a Balinese spiritual event, Dharma Wacana, was conducted by revered Balinese Priest Ida Pedanda Made Gunung at our impressive Bali Theatre.

This event was inspiring because Mr. Made Gunung, as a Hindu priest, articulated insightful contemplations which can be appreciated by followers of all religions. The last CSR activity of Bali Safari & Marine Park’s 4th anniversary was a blood donation drive carried out by the Indonesian Red Cross Society on the 9th of November 2011.

All of these activities are in harmony with Balinese’s philosophy, Tri Hita Karana (derived from Sanskrit, meaning ‘Three Sources of Life’) that signifies the harmonious relationship between human s and God (the Dharma Wacana event), human beings between each other (the Blood Donation event), as well as humans and the environment (opening of the Safari Poo Paper Factory).

Bali Safari & Marine Park adopted this philosophy to generate a holistic relationship between our staff, guests and the natural world.

The final occasion was our Anniversary Night on the 13th of November 2011, at the Tumbler Ridge Area in the Fun Zone at Bali Safari & Marine Park and was attended by all the staff, Department Heads, our General Manager Hans Manansang and several invited sponsors.

The party was the occasion to announce the Best Employee 2011 from all departments and to enjoy the performances from the winners of  the‘Singing Idol’ and ‘Safari’s Got Talent’ competitions.

Bali Safari & Marine Park always endeavors to be at the forefront of the amusement park industry in Indonesia by continuously updating our programmes and marketing strategies.

"As we advance, we will continue with our innovative contributions to the development of travel and tourism in Indonesia and the conservation of the diverse wildlife in this beautiful country, especially in Bali," her said.(**)
