Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The first recording of Elvis Presley sold for $ 300,000 as part of the auction to mark the 80th anniversary of Presley, Thursday (8/1).
Presley recorded the ballad "My Happiness" in the recording studio of Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee in 1953 when he was a 18 year old novice musician.
When it Presley paid 4 dollars for recording the song. He then gave the tape to his friend discs Ed Leek.
Recording this song was donated by Leek nephew who later sold for $ 300,000 at an auction in commemoration of the anniversary of Elvis Presley's 80th at Presley's former home, Graceland.
