Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Damascus has again repatriated 34 Indonesian migrant workers (domestic helpers) through the Damascus international airport, according to a written statement received by Antara here on Monday.
The statement said most of the migrant workers who were repatriated in phase-273 hailed from West Java. Others were from Central Java, East Java, Sulawesi, Banten and West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
Those who were repatriated were:
1. Aliana Bt Muhamad Noor Ibrahim, from NTB;
2. Anuriah Bt Jamaludin Hasan, NTB;
3. Beti Rosbeti Bt Engkos Dasuki, Karawang West Java;
4. Caswati Bt Rakidin Damad, Cirebon, West Java;
5. Dewi Juhaeriyah Bt Karso Satim, Cirebon, West Java;
6. Evi Susanti, Serang, Banten;
7. Fiyanti Bt Kosen Dullah, Karawang, West Java;
8. Hanifah Bt Nasirudin Abdul Harim, Pamekasan, East Java;
9. Imas Bt Juhani, Sukabumi, West Java;
10. Jejen Bt Sahudin Wiharja, Sukabumi, West Java;
11. Juni Bt Talib Sutari, Cirebon, West Java;
12. Kalpiyah Binti Satibi,
13. Kasinah Suma, Indramayu West Java,;
14. Mahyuni bt Mahrip Ahmad, Lombok Timur, NTB;
15. Mastoah Bt Usem Padin, Sukabumi West Java, ;

Thirty four others still remain at the embassy's shelter. They are victims of human trafficking.
The number continues to increase by the day.
Indonesian Ambassador to Damascus Djoko Harjanto said the repatriation of the Indonesian citizens was part of a program being carried out since 2011 due to the security conditions in Syria. (WDY)
