On the occasion the president will also take first hand information about the HKTI superior products, including
agricultural products and machinery being showcased at the arena of the conference.
Led by Oesman Sapta, the HKTI National Congress 2015 is themed, "Promoting Agriculture, Empowering Farmers, Achieving Food Sovereignty".
The congress will be attended by some 700 participants from the HKTI provincial and district governing boards, HKTI functionaries, numerous national figures, business circles, agricultural observers, and a great number of farmers from all over Indonesia.
The National Conference is held to form a new management board of the HKTI national leadership, to enhance the trustee and the rules of association, and to formulate a recommendation in accordance with the need to achieve food sovereignty and to increase the livelihoods of farmers. (WDY)
