Jakarta (Antara Bali) - An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter Scale jolted southeast of Talaud Islands, North Sulawesi on Wednesday at 05:43 am local time (GMT +8).
According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the epicenter of the earthquake was located at 4.21 degree of Northern Latitude and 127.14 degrees of Eastern Longitude, or 41 km southeast of Talaud Islands, or 187km northeast Sangihe Islands, or 377km northeast of Manado, North Sulawesi, or 2,532 km northeast of Jakarta, at the depth of 10 km.
