Tasikmalaya (Antara Bali) - Another police post has been a target of bomb throwing in Tasikmalaya, West Java province, by alleged terrorists.
A locally made bomb was thrown and exploded at the Rajapolah police headquarters in the regency of Tasikmalaya early dawn on Saturday but no casualty caused.
The perpetrators were believed to have run away riding a motorcycle after throwing the bomb at a round 01.30 local time, police said.
Police are still investigating the terror bomb, the second in Tasikmalaya this year. On May 13, this year, a man was shot dead by police after throwing a locally made bomb at a police post at Jalan Mitrabatik in the Tasikmalaya city.
Tasikmalaya police chief Adj. Sr Comr Iwan Imam Susilo could not be reached for details of the terror bomb in early dawn on Saturday. (*/DWA)
