Cilegon (Antara Bali) - Two were missing after a tourist boat carrying 23 passengers capsized in the Sunda Strait waters early on Sunday morning.
The boat, KM Putri Krakatau, was carrying 23 passengers consisting of 17 Indonesians and six Japanese when it capsized after being hit by high waves, the chief of the Naval Post in the Anyer waters, First Lieutenant Assistant Doni said.
Seventeen passengers of the boat were saved by fishing boat KMP Mekar Kencana at 7.15pm. Earlier at 1.20pm four passengers were saved by tankers MT Torm Loire and MV Tanish. (*/M038)
