"We cannot reveal details about the case yet, as the victim is undergoing treatment at a hospital," Deputy Chief of North Kuta Sector Police, First Inspector Sukiman, said here on Friday.
Paul, who was stabbed with a sharp object, was admitted to the BIMC Hospital in Kuta.
At the time of the incident, the victim was staying with his wife and children at Chloe villa in Jalan Berawa Gang Bisma, Canggu village, North Kuta sub-district, Badung district.
Paul tried to fight off the burglars who broke into the house at 2 am.
"When the victim saw some strangers entering his villa, he tried to stop them," Sukiman stated. (IGT/T007)
