Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The finance ministry announced that the state deficit by Dec 20 reached Rp128.2 trillion or 1.55 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Deputy Finance Minister Anny Ratnawati said state revenue reached Rp1,247.6 trillion or 91.9 percent of the target of Rp1,358.2 trillion and spending totaled Rp1,375.8 trillion or 88.9 percent of the target of Rp1,548.3 trillion.
Last year, spending reached only 86.9 percent of the target set in the state budget, Anny said here on Saturday.
She said tax revenues contributed Rp943.1 trillion to the state income or 92.8 percent of the target of Rp1,016.2 trillion set for this year, and non tax revenues accounted for Rp301.3 trillion or 88.3 percent of the target.
Spending included Rp194 trillion for civil servants or 91.4 percent of the target for the year, Rp120.7 trillion on goods or 74.5 percent of the target and Rp123.5 trillion in capital spending or 70.2 percent of the target.
Anny said disbursement of energy subsidy already exceeded the target with oil fuel (BBM) subsidy totaling Rp186.7 trillion or 135.9 percent of the target of Rp137.5 trillion and electricity subsidy at Rp83.3 trillion or 128.2 percent of the target of Rp65 trillion. (IGT/T007)
