Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Head of Bank of Indonesia Denpasar, Jeffrey Kairupan, stated, to reduce and eradicate forge money is not only the central bank's responsibility, but the people and government in together.
   
"This, I say, our common responsibility, not only to the Bank Indonesia itself. The society's participation is very crucial because most of our forge money findings happened amongst the community through daily transactions," said him in Klungkung Regency, Bali, Monday.
   
He was in Klungkung Regency to formally open the Currency Collection Exhibition and the socialization workshop of the rupiah currency originality to the public.
   
Preventively, Bank Indonesia everywhere in Indonesia pays such efforts in eradication of forge money. Some of the efforts are disseminating of campaign "3 D", which means "Dilihat-Diraba-Diterawang" (to see-to touch-to muse) in national television channels.
   
"We must realize, parallel with the technology improvement, it will be very difficult to avoid forge money hence money is absolutely important in our live. But is has to eradicate," said Kairupan.
    
Bank Indonesia as the regulator and circulation bank which regulated by Law No 23/1999, Kairupan said, always try to circulate easy to look rupiah currency to the society.
    
"Therefore, people will always feel save with their rupiahs in the pockets. They will have strong legitimation in rupiahs and that's our common responsibility," said him.(*)
