Bandung, West Java (Antara Bali) - The peak event for the Asia Africa Conference (AAC) in Bandung, West Java will continue during the next few days and set the tourism education agenda in the city.
"The 60th anniversary celebration of the AAC has passed, but numerous activities related to the event will continue into the next few days," the Mayor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil, said on Saturday.
He noted that the activities involved all public elements and existing potential in Bandung, and there would be numerous meetings of high school and college students from Asia and Africa.
Kamil said the West Java Culture and Tourism Office on Saturday had organized the Bandung Historical Study Games (BHSG) that had started at the Merdeka Building and finished in the Dwi Warna Building.
In addition, there would be the Asian African Parade, long march, costume competition, musical performance, and marching band.
On Sunday, a Festival of Nations would be held, which would have art and cultural performances by delegates from the AAC participating countries along the Merdeka and Dago streets.
Further, he added that an "Afternoon Tea" event would be held at the Merdeka Building, which will see the attendees of the Asia Africa Conference in 1955 present.
Later, the Asian-African Students Conference will be held in the Merdeka Building on April 30. (WDY)
