Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Bali province earned a total profit of US$62.94 million from the export of wooden statues and handicrafts during January-October 2014, the province's Chief of Statistics Bureau (BPS) Panasunan Siregar stated here on Tuesday.
"The number is decreasing by 21.66 percent as compared to US$89.35 million recorded during the same period last year," Siregar pointed out.
He noted that during the period between January and October 2013, Bali had exported 65.13 million units of wooden products abroad, while during the same period this year, the number of exported products decreased to 63.48 million units.
Among the countries that imported Bali's wooden products during the past years were the United States, Australia, Japan, China, Thailand, England, and Germany. (WDY)
