Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Bali has recorded a slight increase of 0.88 percent year-on-year in exports to US$486.06 million last year.
"Small and cottage industries contributed 75.07 percent to the total export earning," Chief spokesman of the provincial administration I Ketut Teneng said here on Tuesday.
Ketut Teneng said exports of products of small industries were valued at US$164.48 million in 2013 or up 4.75 percent from US$157.02 million in the same period in the previous year.
Exports of products of cottage industries were worth US$200.66 million , down 0.7 percent from the same period in 2012.
Cottage industries accounted for 41.23 percent of Bali's export earning in 2013, he said adding that other export commodities included plantation, horticulture and fishery products. (*/DWA)
