Sukabumi (Antara Bali) - Narcotic department of Sukabumi Police has arrested Bonar Yusuf Suparja (BYS) with 19 kilograms of cannabis, ready for distribution.
"We arrested him after receiving a report from a resident of Cicurug Village in Sukabumi, West Java, who was suspicious of the attitude of the offender," Sukabumi police spokesman Adjunct Senior Commissioner Edi Suheri said here on Thursday.
BYS was known as a motor taxi driver in Cicurug Village and was suspected as a transporter and dealer during the narcotic distribution process, Police still chase after its supplier.
Suheri said BYS was admitted as an ordinary courier when arresting, but during the investigation, Police found that he has worked as narcotics dealer for three months.
"We're now chasing after men with initials T and D who were suspected as the suppliers of those cannabis," said Suheri.
According to the police, BYS was the narcotic bookie's man and threaten to be minimum punished five years in jail with maximum death punishment based on article 111 and 114 in Law number 35/2009 about narcotics. "We still continuing to develop this case," AKBP Suheri said. (*/T007)
