Jakarta (Antara Bali) - According to the Governor of Jakarta, Joko Widodo, the number of flood victims in Jakarta has reached 103,000.
"Yesterday, there were 103,000 victims, an increase from 91,000 on Saturday," said the Governor, who is also known as Jokowi, on Monday.
The Jakarta health office has set up 128 command posts in Jakarta - eight in Central Jakarta, 24 in North Jakarta, 28 in South Jakarta, 34 in East Jakarta, and 34 in West Jakarta.
Authorities in Jakarta have distributed relief aid to the victims. Jokowi has urged residents of Jakarta to help the flood victims.
Twenty seven people have died because of floods in Jakarta and its surrounding areas.(IGT)
