Padang (Antara Bali) - The Indonesia Real Estate regional chapter of West Sumatra started building a total of 10,000 houses this year in effort to meet the demand of 129,000 houses, the real estate spokesman has said.
"Some 6,000 units of the 10,000 houses are constructed for the low-income people, 3,000 for the middle-income and 1,000 units for the high-income ones," head of the West Sumatra real estate chapter, Al Kudri said here on Sunday.
According to him, the houses price offered during a housing exhibition held here, ranging from 100,000 thousand to more than one billion rupiah.
In the meantime, the local developers have only built several thousands of houses, Al Kudri explained.(*/M038/T007)
