Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Bank Indonesia has recorded the average of bank lending rates until July 2012 has been steady and has registered a slight decrease for working capital loans spending and investment loans.

Based on Bank Indonesia's data received here on Wednesday, the interest rate average in July 2012 was recorded as being quite similar to corresponding data for the previous month, which was recorded at 12.37 percent.

Working capital loans and investment loans have been recorded as having decreased by one basis point and four basis points to 11.78 percent and 11.42 percent, respectively, while consumer loan rates have registered an increase of 2 basis points to 13.92 percent.

The decline in lending rates is also confirmed by the prime lending rate, which is steadily declining across all segments, except the fixed mortgage segment.  

Prime lending rate in July 2012 for the corporate and retail sectors, respectively, stood at 9.77 percent and 11.07 percent lower than the previous month's figures of 9.81 percent and 11.08 percent, respectively.(IGT/T007)
