Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said the government will continue to reform law-enforcing agencies to better create a sense of justice and security in the community.

"Reform within law-enforcing agencies must go on. If all make self-improvement it will be better. I see that a lot of progress and changes have been made," he said here on Wednesday.

Despite the progress, the President said the reform had not yet finished. "I consider it unfinished because there are still cases of extortion," he said.

But he added that there were many law-enforcing personnel who had made achievements.

"Those who have made achievements deserve to receive a token of appreciation. They may have the chance to pursue higher education and so on," he said.(*/T007)
