Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Police have taken the DNA sample of a family member of one of the terrorist suspects killed in Bali recently, in their efforts to assure the identification of the suspects.
"Only one family member of suspect AG from Jimbaran in Bali has come forward and had his DNA sample taken," head of the National Police public relations division Inspector General Saud Usman Nasution said here on Thursday.
Saud did not know who the family member was that had his DNA sample collected by doctors at the Kramat Jati police hospital in East Jakarta.
The bodies of five terrorist suspects shot to death in Bali on March 18 were taken to the Kramat Jati hospital for an autopsy on March 20.
The police have so far been able to gather complete data of four of the suspects based on their identity cards, but they could not collect any data about the fifth suspect as he had no ID.(IGT)
