Denpasar (Antaranews Bali) - A number of Indian artists will be on stage in Bali in collaboration with Balinese artists to make performances to restore tourism in the region after being hit by Mount Agung eruption recently.
"The show will not only deepen relations in the fields of art and culture but also prove that Bali is safe to visit," governor Made Mangku Pastika said here on Thursday at a meeting with board members of India Association Bali.
Through the effort the governor believed foreign visitors especially from India would no longer be doubtful to visit Bali.
"I support the activity as a forum to promote tourism in Bali besides for deepening the existing relations in arts and culture," he said.
The secretary of India Association Bali, Sonia Kaur, said on January 27 there would be around 60 Indian dancers who will show their skills in Bali and will also perform in collaboration with Balinese artists.
The event which will be fully supported by Paiketan Krama Bali� is scheduled at Ksisarnawa Cultural Park in Denpasar.
Sonia Kaur said the dance troupe will be in Bali for five days.� (WDY)
