"I was requested to call any defense witness and expert witness, this will be appointed later," BW made the remarks after being questioned by the national police investigators at National Police Criminal Investigation Board (Bareksrim) here on Tuesday night.
The National Police questioned Bambang Widjojanto as a suspect in an election dispute case.
BW said his side would negotiate with his lawyers team in order to determine the names of witnesses who can lighten the charge.
The police investigators questioned him about his alleged role in directing a witness for giving false testimony in connection with the election dispute case.
Meanwhile, the National Police Criminal Investigation Board is set to question former Constitutional Court chief Akil Mochtar in the case against BW. (WDY)
