Beijing (Antara Bali) - Indonesian Trade Minister Rahmat Gobel said the Indonesia-China Business Forum will be attended by about 300 Indonesian and Chinese businessmen.
Businesses of both sides will explore opportunities or economic cooperation potential," the trade minister said here on Sunday.
The forum will be held in the Beijing's Wangfujing Renaissance Complex here on Sunday morning.
Rahmat said that the government will continue to encourage cooperation which benefits the two countries and improves the prosperity of their peoples.
President Joko Widodo is slated to attend the Indonesia-China Business Forum.
After attending the forum, the President is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang.
The meeting between President Jokowi and his Chinese counterparts will be held at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, at 10.30 a.m - 11.45 a.m Western Indonesia Standard Time (WIB).
The President will be briefed by the host on the APEC meeting," Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno LP Marsudi said on Sunday.
President Jokowi is visiting Beijing to attend the APEC Summit hosted by China on November 8-11, 2014.
Indonesia will look at issues raised in the forum while presenting its agenda in the summit, Minister Retno LP Marsudi said.
She said priority issues Indonesia would take up included maritime cooperation, investment, energy and infrastructure.(MFD)
