Netzer (70) recently visit Hoeness, who had languished for four months in the prison of the total detention period of three and a half years, at Landsberg prison near the city of Munich.
Hoeness Bayern resigned as president last March, was sentenced to 24 hours after. He claimed to have avoided paying taxes amounting to 28.5 million euros (equivalent Rp430,41 billion).
Rheinischen Netzer told the Post that Hoeness (62) in good condition, and his weight dropped 20 pounds since the start of a period of detention in June.
"He was in good condition when I met her and proud of her weight," said Netzer.
Both had joined the West German national team squad that successfully won the 1974 World Cup trofil, and Netzer said that Hoeness serving a sentence with dignity.
