"After working for nine months, the panel finally produced the report that we have just presented to the UN Secretary General," President Yudhoyono said.
He, however, said the presentation of the report did not mean that the discussion on the Post-2015 development agenda was over because there would be an inter-governmental process in accordance with the system and mechanism existing in the UN.
The HLP's report would be used as a reference together wit the working group's report for the creation of a new document to succeed the MDGs which will expire in 2015.
The UN Secretary General appointed President Yudhoyono, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and British Prime David Cameron to co-chair the HLP.
They had held four meetings previously, namely in New York in September 2012, London in November 2012, Monrovia in February 2013 and Bali in March 2013. (*/DWA)
