"Our first son was born in the midnight," the President's second son, Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas), said here on Monday morning.
"It was a normal childbirth and our baby is healthy," he stated.
Ibas said his wife, Siti Rubi Aliya Rajasa, the daughter of Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa, was also in a healthy condition.
"She is healthy but she looked quite tired," he noted.
Ibas said President Yudhoyono and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono had returned home after seeing their newborn grandson. (IGT/T007)
