Speaking at a coordination meeting on law enforcement at the Attorney General's Office here on Wednesday, the President said corruption eradication efforts must be made continuously involving all parties.
"All state officials, and not only the government, must prevent corruption. When irregularities happen the law must be enforced," he said.
The President said all state apparatuses within the legal system must work hard to eradicate corruption despite, the weaknesses that still exist.
"We still have a lot of work to do. But I hope all sectors would continue to work and act firmly against anyone involved, regardless of his or her official position or political party affiliation," he said.
He felt that success in enforcing the law and eradicating corruption would be the victory of all parties.(IGT)
