Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Police have named five suspects in the murder of a Betawi Brotherhood Forum (FBR) leader in Jakarta's southwestern outskirts of Pondok Aren early Wednesday.
"The five suspects are among the 13 witnesses questioned in the case," spokesman of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Snr Comr Rikwanto said on Friday.
He added that the five were suspected of beating to death the FBR member Muhidin alias Picu.
The suspects were identified as Ari Junianzah (19), Abdul Kohar (30), Abdulloh (30), Mulyadi (30) and Yandi Margucan (19). They were believed to be members of the branch of the Pancasila Youth movement.
He said police were still seeking nine other people who were allegedly involved in the case. They were identified by their initials as RO, DS, MR, SQ, AP, S, DM, MA and DS.
The nine people played a role in the murder, he said.(IGT)
