The two, Abdul Hafidz and Alfian, are residents of Sanjai, Banto Darano, Bukittinggi, Provincial Head of Ampang Gadang, Agam regency, Riki Surkam said Friday night.
He said the two had climbed Mt Marapi on Tuesday (June 20) starting from Canduang, Agam regency.
"The last contact between Hafidz and his parents was a short message at 7 West Indonesia Time on Wednesday night (June 21)," he said.
He said the other residents had come together to look for the missing pair.(IGT)
