The agreement was signed by Pertamina's Director of Investment Planning and Risk Management, Afdal Bahaudin, and Sonatrach's Partnership Director, Kamel Eddine Chikhi, during the World Gas Conference (WGC) held here.
Also present at the signing ceremony were the Algerian Energy and Mining Minister, Youcef Yousfi, and Sonatrach's President Director, Abdelhamid Zerguine.
The agreement includes an exchange of expertise in matters related to hydrocarbon research and development in Indonesia, Algeria and other countries.
Sonatrach and Pertamina have also agreed to exchange information regarding the gas industry and its derivatives.
After the signing ceremony, Afdal Bahaudin stated that Pertamina's cooperation with Sonatrach was of great strategic value.(IGT)
