Kuta (Antara Bali) - Several domestic flights from Ngurah Rai
Airport in Bali to West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara provinces
were disrupted on Saturday due to bad weather.
General manager of state airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I at Ngurah Rai airport, Trikora Harjo, said the disruption affected not only departures but arrivals as well.
As a result of the bad weather, flights to Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara and several cities in East Nusa Tenggara were late.
The bad weather mostly affected Wings Airs flight, number IW-1862, from Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara to Denpasar, Bali.
The 60-seater plane was expected to land at Ngurah Rai Airport at around 08.00 a.m. but it arrived at the airport only at 09.50 a.m. Eastern Indonesia Time, he added.
The Wing Air flight, number IW-1852, which serves the Semarang-Denpasar flight route, was also delayed.
The same was also true of Wing Air flight which serves the Denpasar-Tambolaka route.(WDY)
