Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Fuel oil consumption is expected to increase by some 10 percent due to the long weekend falling on May 5-8.

To anticipate the situation, Pusponegoro noted that Pertamina had issued instructions to all filling stations to take the delivery order of a larger than normal quantity from May 1.

She explained that Pertamina had increased its stock of special fuel, for instance, Pertamax fuel oil, from some 290 thousand kiloliters to 330 thousand kiloliters.

"We see increased stocks of the Pertamax Series and also Pertalite, which are needed as the consumption is higher, moreover, during a holiday. For instance, the daily consumption of Pertalite has now reached some eight thousand kiloliters, while that of the Pertamax Series has surpassed the highest level of some 13 thousand kiloliters," she revealed.
