London (Antara Bali) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will meet British Prime Minister David Cameron during his working visit to the United Kingdom as part of the efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

"President Jokowi is scheduled to arrive in London on Monday afternoon. The president will end his visit to London on April 20," Minister Counsellor of the Indonesian Embassy in London Dino Kusnadi stated here on Monday.

On Tuesday (April 19), President Jokowi is scheduled to meet Cameron to intensify bilateral relations and cooperation in the political, economic, and socio-cultural areas.

In addition, President Jokowi will also deliver a speech at the British Parliament and the International Maritime Organization of the United Nations.

The president will collaborate in an effort to boost investment, culture of tolerance, education, sports events, and creative industries.

During his visit, President Jokowi is being accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Trade Minister Thomas Lembong, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti, Secretary Cabinet Pramono Anung, Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Franky Sibarani, and Head of the Creative Economy Agency Triawan Munaf.

As many as 50 Indonesian businessmen will also accompany the president during his visit. President Jokowi is scheduled to meet the Indonesian diaspora. (WDY)
