Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno L.P. Marsudi is set to visit the US early next month to attend a meeting of Joint Ministerial Committee (JMC).
The biennial meeting will discuss a number of issues including the possibility of Indonesian President Joko Widodo visiting the US to meet President Barack Obama, spokesman for the Indonesian Foreign Ministry Arrmanatha Nasir said here on Thursday.
In addition, the meeting will also discuss the latest issues of mutual concern, he added.
"One of the issues which will be high on the agenda of the meeting will be the planned meeting between the two heads of state besides other issues which can be brought to the meeting of the heads of state," he said.
No date has been set for the Indonesian president's visit to the US. (WDY)
