Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Swaziland Kingdom is offering a chance to Indonesian business players to invest in the mining sector to strengthen bilateral trade cooperation, Indonesia's Cabinet Secretary Andi Widjajanto said here Thursday.

"The investment cooperation in the mining sector between Indonesia and Swaziland will be improved, especially in the mining sector in Swaziland," he added.

According to him, Indonesian President Joko Widodo met King Mswati III from Swaziland Kingdom on the sidelines of the Asian African Conference to talk about ways to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.

"The King of Swaziland invites Indonesian delegates to the country to explore the possibility of investing in the mining sector in Swaziland," Andi said.

Besides meeting the King of Swaziland, President Widodo also held bilateral meetings with a number of heads of state/governments on the sidelines of the Asian African Conference in Jakarta.

Earlier, President Joko Widodo met Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan O Cha and also President of Iran Hassan Rouhani. After meeting King Mswati III, President Widodo also had a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. (WDY)
