Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The first European Culture and Tourism Exhibition, themed Destination to Europe will be held in Jakarta, on October 18 to 19 October, 2014, displaying 24 countries, 70 exhibitioners, and 50 performances.

"I am sure that before this, there were many tourism exhibitions held in Indonesia. But this time is different as we will present the European cultures and panorama that will be your own experiences," the Ambassador of the European Union to Indonesia, Olof Skoog, said here Monday.

According to him, the Destination to Europe exhibition is a medium for the Indonesians to know more about tourism and cultures in the continent.

"You will see the beauty of Europe. We want you to know that the way to enjoy our tourism objects is so easy," Skoog said.

One of the facilities to visit Europe is the easiness to get the tourist visa to the European countries, besides there are a lot of carriers that provide flight service.

Skoog said that during his stay in Indonesia, he has opportunities to get in touch with the Indonesians, and melt down in the cultures.

The fifty performances that will be displayed in the exhibition are dancing, music, cooking demo, language workshop, talk show, seminar and European culinary festival. (WDY)
