Kuta (Antara Bali) - National flag carrier Garuda Indonesia will open a new daily flight route from Denpasar to Bandung on Saturday.

To serve the route Garuda will operate Boeing 737 with a capacity of 162 seats consisting of 12 executive class seats and 150 economic class seats, the general manager of Garuda Indonesia branch office in Denpasar, Taufik Hidayat, said on the sidelines of Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair here on Friday evening.

He said the plane will depart from Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali at 11.00 a.m local time, he said.

The plan to open the flight route is part of the airline company's effort to increase the frequency of domestic and international flights, he said. (IGT)
