Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Search still is continuing for two police officers missing since Oct 8 in the regency of Poso of Central Sulawesi, a police spokesman said.
"The two officers were conducting investigation in that area," Brig. Gen. Boy Rafli Amar, the head of the police's public information service, said here on Monday.
Andi and Sudirman were last known to be on duty in the village of Tamanjeka in Gunung Potong near area believed to be a training place of a terrorist group.
Boy said police have sent a special combined team of the Central Sulawesi police and the military to look for the missing police officers.
Police linked the disappearance of the two police officers to the recent terror attacks in Poso.
There have been a series of terror attacks in Poso lately.(IGT/T007)
