Jakarta (Antara Bali) - A senior high school student was killed while two others had been wounded in a brawl between two different school students here on Monday.
"The one who died is known by his initials as AS," South Jakarta resort police chief Senior Commissioner Wahyu Hadiningrat said when contacted by newsmen seeking confirmation of the incident.
He said AS died after being stabbed by a sharp weapon on his chest while the two others sustained wounds on their fingers and temple believably from stones pelted at them.
The body of the dead is now kept at the Muhammadiyah hospital while the wounded were being treated also at the hospital.
Wahyu said around 15 students from SMAN 6 state senior high school in South Jakarta initially left their school for a sport activity at Tugu Taman when suddenly dozen students from neighboring SMAN 70 attacked them using various kinds of sharp weapons.(IGT/T007)
