Jakarta (Antara Bali) - South Korean business circles became interested in Indonesia's marine products, the trade ministry said.
"South Korean investors have become increasingly interested in taking part in Indonesia's economic development programs," Promotion Development and Image Director of the Directorate General of National Export Development of the Trade Ministry Pradnyawati said in Jakarta Thursday.
Investment of major companies like POSCO, Han Kook Tire and CJ Group made South Korea the seventh biggest investor in Indonesia.
The expansion of Lotte Hypermarket in Jakarta is only one concrete form of the increased economic interaction between the two, the official said.
