Great Wall of China Close Demi "Assalamualaikum Beijing"

Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Great Wall of China was closed temporarily for 1.5 hours for the sake of filming "Assalamualaikum Beijing", said producer Ody Mulya of Maxima Pictures in Jakarta on Saturday.

Ody said the other visitors can not be passing on the Great Wall of China during the filming of the film adaptation of the novel by Asma Nadia for maximum results.

"That's one of the golden scene, it is expensive but the results are encouraging," said Ody.

He said the shooting was constrained air pollution in Beijing which resulted in a thick fog.

Food also was a factor since the beginning of dishes available do not suit the tastes of the crew.

"Finally, we employ a cook who used to cook for the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in order to fit with the tongue," said Ody.

Ody revealed it was interested in adapting the novel "Assalamualaikum Beijing" to the big screen because it carries the spirit of motivation for people frustrated in order to bounce back.

"Assalamualaikum Beijing" based on the novel of the same name tells Asmara (Revalina S Temat), a journalist who went to Beijing to work as well for the sake of restoring her hurt after being betrayed her future husband, the god (Ibn Jamil) who had an affair with Anita (Cynthia Ramlan).

In Beijing, Asmara met with Zhongwen (Morgan Oey), the man who introduced the legend of Ashima love, the beautiful daughter of Yunan. Zhongwen romance and getting closer, but Asmara suddenly sentenced to suffer the syndrome APS disturbing the blood clotting system.

The film, filming took place in the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Hohai, Wang Fujing shopping center, and Yunnan Province will be aired at the end of December 2014. (MFD)
