Yudhoyono Meets With Party Cadres From Bali, East Nusa Tenggara

Nusa Dua, (Antara Bali) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, who is also the general chairman of the ruling Democrat Party, met with 4,500 party cadres from Bali and East Nusa Tenggara provinces here on Sunday.

At the closed-door meeting the President was flanked by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono and his son, Edhie Bhaskoro Yudhoyono, who is also the party`s secretary general.

The meeting starting at 7.30pm was also attended by several party figures such as Jero Wacik, Syarif Hasan, Amir Syamsuddin, Marzuki Alie. Bali governor I Made Mangku Pastika was also seen among them.

Political parties in the country are currently preparing themselves for the legislative elections scheduled to be held on April 8. (WRA)
