Telkomsel Wins Bali Marketeer Champion Award

Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Indonesia's largest mobile phone operator, Telkomsel, has won a Bali Marketeers Champion 2013 award for communications, high-tech,  and media category from Marketeers magazine and marketing institute MarkPlus Inc.

The award was presented to Telkomsel during  the Indonesia Marketeers Festival 2013 held at Aston Denpasar Hotel and Convention Center on Thursday.

"The award proves that marketing strategy which is suited to customers' needs has received positive responses from the Balinese community. We are thankful to the Balinese customers and people who have enjoyed our services and products,"   Hasan Kurdi, head of Telkomsel sales and customer care for Bali region, said.

Indonesia Marketeers Festival 2013 is a forum of marketeer champions from privately-run companies, state-owned companies and government sectors in Bali province.

The festival which was for the first time held in Bali was themed  "On Becoming Local Champion: Bali Is Strong, Indonesia Is Glorious".

The Bali Marketeer Champion 2013 award confirms the recognition  of  Telkomsel's success in maintaining the predicate of Best Champion for the cellular operator category for a second straight year at the Bali Service Excellence Award (BSEA) 2013 event held by the marketing research institute MarkPlus Insight early this year.

Such awards are also given to local champions who have extraordinary performance over the past year. (IGT)
